Warranty conditions

  1. Scope of Warranty and Exclusions

    We grant a manufacturer’s warranty on our products – unless otherwise stated below – for a period of

    • seven years if the respective product is registered online within 12 weeks of the purchase date,
    • two years if no online registration or no timely online registration is made.

    Warranty claims only exist if the product shows no damage or signs of wear caused by use that deviates from normal intended use or manufacturer’s instructions, and if there are no signs of repairs or interventions by unauthorized service centers. Damage caused by leaking batteries is not considered a warranty case. In such cases, please contact the respective battery manufacturer.

    The warranty service consists exclusively of replacement or repair of the product. Further claims – particularly claims for damages – are excluded from the warranty. A warranty service does not extend or renew the warranty period.

  4. Legal Warranty

    This manufacturer’s warranty exists in addition to the statutory or contractual claims you may have against the seller according to the laws of your country. Statutory claims must be asserted directly with the seller.

    Within the scope of EU law, the exercise of these legal rights is free of charge. Outside the EU, please inquire whether exercising legal rights in your country is also free of charge.

  5. Costs

    Our warranty services – i.e., replacement or repair – are free of charge.

    If it turns out upon inspection that there is no defect or no warranty claim exists, we reserve the right to charge a service fee of €29.95. This does not apply if you could not have been aware, under the circumstances, that there was no warranty issue. You are of course entitled to prove that no damage or a significantly lower damage has occurred.

  6. Miscellaneous

    The warranty is valid worldwide and subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless more favorable home country legislation takes precedence for you. Any differing or additional assurances at the time of purchase remain unaffected.
