At the end of the last millennium , the Opolka twin brothers revolutionized the world of portable lighting. Without any start-up capital, but with fresh courage, innovative ideas, and numerous patents, they quickly became the European market leaders for flashlights and headlamps. Their products won international innovation and design awards and were sold on every continent.
Zweibrüder now presents itself in a new form with Rainer Opolka and Tobias Schleder. Their goal: to utilize the new possibilities of optoelectronics and microelectronics to once again set standards in the world of lighting.
Tobias Schleder has been deeply immersed in the world of light for many years – learning, listening, and creating. His product career began under Rainer's mentorship, where he gained his first experience with early innovations. While their lamps developed into a global brand, Tobias was already playing a crucial role behind the scenes – in product development, innovation, and strategy.
Not to repeat the past, but to surpass it. With innovations such as Multiple-Optic-Technology (MOT) , Auto Focus (AFT), the one-button joystick, and many more , Zweibrüder is once again venturing into new dimensions of light.
